I’d like to volunteer.

Firstly, thank you. Volunteers provide an invaluable resource within our care homes, helping us to enhance quality of life, build cohesive communities and enable active citizenship amongst our seniors.

Joining us as volunteer offers a wonderfully fulfilling opportunity to become a part of our care home family, and provide companionship to our residents. Often involving participating in and supporting social activities such as a reading group, or shared interests such as knitting, walking, playing board games and relaxed home based activates.

If you’d like to help make a difference to the lives of our residents we’d very much like to hear from you. There is no upper age limit, but our volunteers must be 16 or over. Please contact us on Tel: 01702 433 335 Fax: 01702 437 333 Email: enquiries@essexccl.com

How are volunteers assessed?

It’s important that the volunteers who join our care home family are as dedicated to providing exceptional care as we are. For this reason each volunteer will be asked to join us for an informal interview where we will ask a series of questions, such as:

Why do you want to volunteer with us?

Is there a particular role you are interested in?

How much time can you offer?

Do you have any particular skills, or hobbies?
